Partner Program application, onboarding, and annual review process

This document outlines the process for applying to the OpenChain Partner program, along with onboarding and annual review for program participants.

Application

Interested parties must apply at https://form.asana.com/?k=VTkr9tpEO22_yLQ22-Cb_A\&d=9283783873717 ( this is linked to on the website partner page - https://openchainproject.org/partners ). The form is received by the OpenChain Staff for review.

Approval

The Governing Board will review the proposal via email. There will be a five business day period where the proposal is open for comments/feedback; if no concerns are raised, the proposal will be considered approved by consensus. If concerns are raised, the proposal may be discussed via email or at an upcoming Governing Board meeting and approved/rejected.

Onboarding

OpenChain Staff will send out the partnership agreement ( email template at https://app.hubspot.com/templates/8112310/edit/119507722; Docusign Powerform at https://na3.docusign.net/Member/PowerFormSigning.aspx?PowerFormId=d8859e5a-0f76-4132-866e-a1b5d4fd5852\&env=na3\&acct=f30e10ec-fea1-4dd8-a262-384a61edabb5\&v=2 ).

Once the agreement is fully executed, OpenChain Staff will send out a welcome email ( email template at https://app.hubspot.com/templates/8112310/edit/119513093 ), outlining the next steps, namely.

  • Adding the company logo to the Partner Page ( https://openchainproject.org/partners )
  • Requesting company information and a quote for a blog post announcement.
    • Once posted on the blog, it will be amplified on OpenChain social media channels.

Annual Review

On an annual basis, the OpenChain Staff will review all partners who have been part of the Partner Program longer than one year, and ensure the company information is accurate and the company still wishes to be part of the Partner Program.

Any partners who are to be removed will be shared with the Governing Board for review via email. There will be a five business day period where the proposal is open for comments/feedback; if no concerns are raised, the proposal will be considered approved by consensus. If concerns are raised, the proposal may be discussed via email or at an upcoming Governing Board meeting and approved/rejected.
